Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 educational opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensed with CCC credentials or as a Clinical Fellow (CF) in New Orleans, LA. This contract position supports students from PreK through 8th grade within an established school setting, providing direct speech and language therapy services onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language evaluations, individualized therapy, and progress monitoring for a caseload of 50-60 students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Participate in student IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations to support educational outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license; Clinical Fellowship candidates considered.
- Experience working in a school setting, preferably with K-8 caseload.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment tools, and evidence-based treatment methodologies.
- Effective communication and collaborative skills to support students and work with school staff.
- Ability to work onsite full time.
